Daniel Varella is a law graduate who decided to follow his dream of becoming a comedian in 2015. He started his new career in stand-up comedy, but also graduated in dramaturgy in 2018, in addition to specializing in improvisation courses with teachers: Marcio Ballas and Gustavo Miranda.

Daniel did a year of web radio as the host of Rádio Sot, in addition to having two podcasts on audio platforms, the Programa RadioAtivos with a pop culture theme and DogmaCast, with his partner Humberto Rosso.

With more than 9 years of experience on the stages of the Brazilian comedy circuit, Daniel is the founder of Planeta Podcast in which he has presented more than 500 episodes, interviewing celebrities such as Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, Danilo Gentili, Thiago Ventura and Fred, from Desimpedidos.

Planeta Podcast and its shorts channel combined have more than 280 million views. One of the channels has more than 671 thousand subscribers while the other has more than 325 thousand. Daniel was the host of an interview show for a season on the closed channel PlayTv and is now the permanent master of ceremonies at My Fucking Comedy Club, Danilo Gentili’s comedy club, every Friday at 10pm.
