Oscar Filho is recognized as one of the originators of the stand-up comedy movement in Brazil. In 2005, as co-founder of Clube da Comédia Stand-up, Oscar was responsible for sparking the comedy movement in São Paulo.

In 2008, he debuted his stand-up solo, “Putz Grill…” on air for 11 years.

Oscar participated in numerous programs and documentaries about stand-up on TV and the Internet, as well as festivals such as Risadaria and Risorama and comedy shows in all the major cities of Brazil.

In 2020, he debuted his second stand-up solo called “Alto – Unauthorized Biography” based on the book he wrote in 2014, “Unauthorized Autobiography”.

He is currently on tour with Danilo Gentili and Diogo Portugal with their show “Stand-Up Raiz”, as well as his new stand-up solo: “Alto – Unauthorized Biography”.
