Daniel Murillo

Daniel Murillo, a young comedian and screenwriter, from Sorocaba, in the outskirts of São Paulo, began his career in the São Paulo stand-up scene in 2009 in the capital city’s bars, a space that gave rise to great names in contemporary humor.

In his shows, Daniel’s trademark is the ability to touch upon life’s most unusual situations, with his nonsensical vision and quirky and sharply realistic view of the absurdities we experience in our everyday lives. From marriage to where we’re going after we die, Daniel jokes about everything he observes. On stage, in addition to his stand-up material created throughout his training as a comedian, Daniel Murillo exhibits unpredictable improvisation performances with audiences.

Since then, he has participated on television in programs such as “Comedy Central Apresenta”, “The Noite”, “Domingo Legal” and “Eliana” on SBT. In addition he has been on “Mix TV”, “Programa da Tarde”, “Tudo a Ver”, “Programa da Sabrina” and “Marathon do Humor” in the program “Tudo é Possível” by Ana Hickman, where he performed improv and stand-up.

Daniel launched his first comedy special on YouTube and proudly reached over 500k views!
