Richard Sakamoto started his acting career in 2011 at the Louis Louis Institute as a mime and improv artist. Since then, he has participated in the “Prêmio Multishow de Humor”, recorded for Comedy Central (Brazil) and performed at “Risadaria”, the biggest comedy festival in Brazil. Sakamoto debuted his comedy career at the Ruth Escobar Theater, where he performed for many years.

Today, Sakamoto shines as a stand-up comedian, actor, mime, improv artist, master of ceremonies, broadcaster, scriptwriter, and musician (parodies). His exceptional talent has helped him make a name for himself on television shows, radio, theaters and comedy clubs.

Sakamoto also teaches the Master of Ceremonies and Crowd Work online courses for aspiring comedians.
